It's no secret that Henry Cavill, a Hollywood superstar famous for bringing Superman and Geralt of Rivia to life, is a video game fanatic, specifically, he's part of the Gaming PC community. However, in case you doubt it for some reason, the British actor has published a video that will make you change your mind. But what about those specs?
For around $6,000 Henry Cavill built an excellent gaming pc. Nevertheless let's be real, with his budget, he could have bought a much more expensive computer, even more, he could have gone to a website and select "Higher to lower price" and then picked every single most expensive part. Instead he built a cost efficient computer, following all the rules an experienced builder would have, as if... he was one of us.
For $450 this is surprisingly cheap for someone who could buy a NASA computer. Nevertheless an excellent choice, as this CPU in fact outperforms CPUs that went for $1,000+ just a year ago, With 12 cores and 24 threads we are sure it will handle smoothly every The Witcher 3 streaming session.
Again, Henry Cavill didn't go for anything fancy like a SLI configuration. Simply a very good high end graphics card that will run every Warhammer title that is to come.
A proper 4k UHD, 144 Hz gaming monitor. The Witcher actor didn't go for a curved triple monitor configuration nonsense, just a very crisp and smooth gaming experience.
Through Instagram, Cavill published a video where we can see Superman assemble a powerful PC, with everything and lights included. Although the process is quite complicated and long, the video only lasts five minutes. This does not mean that the actor has the speed of Superman, but that the edition only shows us part of the process.
The building process was not shown entirely, but it seems he knew what he was doing. This was no The Verge building pc guide or anything alike, instead a very chill experience that received plenty positive reactions.
With his little project done, Henry Cavill is more than ready to play as many PC games as he can. What do you think their first game will be? Did Persona 4 Golden, Death Stranding, Halo 3? In response, many fans grabbed their own keyboards, one user commented, "That's what Superman does in Fortress of Solitude when the world is not in danger."
Games and stuff. No seriously, Henry Cavill is a fan of The Witcher series, Warhammer, WoW and many more. He has not streamed yet, but with his new PC we really hope he does so.
